My wife is former UPC pentecostal, and I’m former non-denominational charismatic, so we both understand very well that type of religious system.
The primary issue isn’t with one’s views on gifts of the Spirit, but what you’re following as the doctrine of salvation.
I’ll be plain about it (not unkind), the fact is… pentecostalism/charismaticism is a cult of another gospel.
It’s nothing but heretical behavioral/works-based salvation. (Which is no salvation at all).
So if you’re tired of pretending to be something that you’re not. If you want to come out of that yoke of religious bondage and know what the rest in the finished work of Christ is all about, I’d be happy to help you to understand God’s grace however I can.
All glory to the risen Lord Jesus Christ, and no glory to us whatsoever.
