Hi there, πŸ‘‹
Are you a Christian who’s lacking the fullness of the joy of the Lord? Or, are you someone who struggles with depression perhaps? Well if that describes you, then this message is tailor-made for you my friend. (The only cure for spiritual depression and/or religious apathy is found in what I’m about to share with you).

Many times Christians pursue the Christian life backwards. They do this by thinking that they’ll be closer to the Lord through their suffering, asceticism, (and such). But in this approach to living the Christian life, they bypass what MUST precede the fellowship of His sufferings. That is: possessing, walking in, owning, the very righteousness of God as your very own righteousness.

In the following two verses from Philippians 3 that I’m about to present to you, I want you to notice how the phrase “That I may know him” is the conclusion of righteousness by the faith of Christ in the previous verse [9]. (Note: Chapter and verse divisions didn’t exist when scripture was originally written. So you have to ignore those location markers sometimes to fully understand what’s being communicated by the text of scripture).
As you read the following verses, notice how the final 3 elements aren’t the way to know Him, but are the accompanying byproducts of knowing Him.

Look for yourself:

Philippians 3.9-10

9 “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;”

So… turn yourself around on that horse that you’ve been trying to ride while facing backwards, and then see how much better your life in Christ operates when your orientation is correct.
Pursue life and all of its trials & sufferings in the joyful knowledge that you’ve ALREADY been made fully the righteousness of God as a free gift by the obedience of one (Jesus)…And watch how much easier every trial in life is to handle.

Are you walking in the righteousness of God right now?

Are you comfortable proclaiming that you’ve been made the righteousness of God right now?

Do you celebrate having been made the righteousness of God right now?

[If you’re active online (and you are active online, because you’re reading this post) and you’re not posting about your excitement over your having been made the righteousness of God, you haven’t grasped the righteousness of God as your own righteousness as you should].

Therefore I urge you in the strongest possible terms to please play these brief video messages that I’ve made about possessing God’s righteousness as your very own righteousness:
(These videos contain the scriptural information that you need to understand about this matter).

All glory to the risen Lord Jesus Christ, and no glory to us whatsoever!

Isaiah 61.10
“I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.”

Romans 3.22
“Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:”

Romans 5.19
“For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”

Colossians 2.13
“And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;”

Hebrews 10.14
“For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”
